BIMABOX — Terms of Use

BIMABOX is a digital family insurance visibility and document-management platform built for Indian users.

BIMABOX helps users organize, store, access, and share insurance-related information with their family members or trusted contacts.

Through BIMABOX, users may upload insurance policy documents, store policy-related information digitally, view simplified policy summaries, add family members or trusted contacts with controlled access, maintain family-level visibility of insurance policies, receive reminders for renewals, premiums, maturity dates, or other important policy-related dates, and access basic informational checklists related to insurance documents and claim-readiness.

BIMABOX is designed to reduce confusion and improve awareness of insurance policies within families.

BIMABOX is not an insurance company, insurer, insurance broker, corporate agent, insurance web aggregator, IRDAI-approved insurance repository, claim-settlement authority, replacement for the insurer’s official records, or legal, tax, financial, investment, or insurance advisory service.

BIMABOX does not issue insurance policies, sell insurance policies, underwrite risk, settle claims, guarantee claims, or represent any insurer unless expressly stated in writing.

Users must verify all insurance-related information directly with the relevant insurer, official policy document, licensed insurance advisor, broker, agent, or applicable regulatory channel.

Any policy summary, reminder, checklist, extracted information, explanation, or simplified content shown on BIMABOX is provided only for convenience and general information.

BIMABOX does not guarantee that a policy is valid or active, a policy has not lapsed, a claim will be accepted, a nominee will receive claim proceeds, uploaded documents are complete or updated, extracted policy details are error-free, a user has adequate insurance coverage, or a user’s family will successfully complete a claim.

You should always refer to the original policy document and insurer records before making any decision.

To use BIMABOX, you may need to create an account using your mobile number, email address, OTP, password, or other authentication method.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information, keep your login credentials secure, not share your account access with unauthorized persons, inform us if you suspect unauthorized access, and use the platform only for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.

BIMABOX may allow one user to act as the primary account holder or Karta for a family insurance vault.

The Karta may be able to upload policy documents, add or remove family members, manage access permissions, control visibility of policy information, update or delete policy records, and invite nominees, dependents, or trusted contacts.

The Karta is responsible for ensuring that they have lawful authority and consent to upload, store, or share documents and personal information relating to other individuals.

If you are invited to access a BIMABOX vault as a family member, nominee, dependent, or trusted contact, your access will be limited to the permissions granted by the account owner or Karta.

You agree not to misuse any information made available to you, including policy documents, personal details, nominee details, health-related information, financial information, contact details, and claim-related information.

Unauthorized use, disclosure, copying, or sharing of another person’s information is strictly prohibited.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of documents and information uploaded by you.

You must not upload fake, forged, or misleading policy documents, documents belonging to another person without permission, illegal or unauthorized content, content that violates privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights, or any malware, virus, corrupted file, or malicious code.

We may remove, restrict, suspend, or disable access to any content or account that violates these Terms or applicable law.

BIMABOX may use OCR, automation, artificial intelligence, or manual review to extract information from uploaded policy documents.

Extracted information may include policyholder name, policy number, insurer name, policy type, sum insured or sum assured, premium amount, premium due date, renewal date, maturity date, nominee details, agent or advisor details, claim-related information, and other information visible in the document.

Automated extraction may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You must verify all extracted details with the original policy document and insurer records before relying on them.

Some BIMABOX features may be free, paid, subscription-based, usage-based, or available during a beta period.

Paid plans may include limits on number of policy documents, number of family members, storage capacity, AI extraction usage, reminders and alerts, premium support, and add-on services.

Pricing, billing frequency, applicable taxes, renewal terms, and included features will be shown at the time of purchase.

BIMABOX may initially be offered as a beta product.

During beta access, features may be incomplete, experimental, interrupted, inaccurate, modified, or discontinued.

By using BIMABOX during beta, you understand that the platform is still evolving and may not operate without errors.

You agree not to use BIMABOX for fraud, impersonation, or illegal activity; upload unauthorized documents; misrepresent your relationship with any policyholder, nominee, or family member; attempt to hack, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the platform; bypass access controls or security features; copy, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the platform without permission; use BIMABOX to harass, defame, threaten, or harm others; or use the platform in violation of Indian law.

Your use of BIMABOX is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using BIMABOX, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We take reasonable measures to protect user data and documents. However, no digital system is completely secure.

You understand that uploading insurance documents and personal information to any online platform involves inherent risks.

You are responsible for maintaining secure access to your devices, email accounts, OTPs, passwords, and login credentials.

We aim to keep BIMABOX available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, security updates, cloud service issues, third-party provider failures, payment, SMS, email, storage, or hosting provider issues, or legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.

BIMABOX may use third-party services for cloud hosting, document storage, payments, authentication, email, SMS, or WhatsApp communication, OCR and AI processing, analytics, security monitoring, and customer support.

We are not responsible for failures, downtime, pricing, policies, or actions of third-party service providers.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, BIMABOX, XYPT Media Private Limited, its directors, employees, vendors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for claim rejection by an insurer, missed premium payments, lapsed policies, incorrect information uploaded by users, errors in extracted or summarized data, unauthorized access caused by user negligence, loss of documents due to events beyond our reasonable control, decisions taken based on platform content, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

Our total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by you to BIMABOX in the three months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, upload fraudulent, forged, or unauthorized documents, required payments fail, or continued access creates legal, regulatory, security, or operational risk.

You may stop using BIMABOX at any time.

You may request account deletion by contacting us at info@xyptmedia.com.

Deletion may be subject to identity verification, legal retention requirements, fraud-prevention needs, tax, payment, accounting, or compliance obligations, and backup retention cycles.

All rights in the BIMABOX name, logo, design, software, dashboard, workflows, content, technology, and platform are owned by or licensed to XYPT Media Private Limited.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from BIMABOX without written permission.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may notify users through email, app notification, website notice, or other reasonable means.

Continued use of BIMABOX after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, the courts at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or use of BIMABOX.
