BIMABOX — Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, failed payments, duplicate payments, and subscription billing are handled for BIMABOX.
BIMABOX is operated by XYPT Media Private Limited, having its address at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
By purchasing any paid plan, subscription, add-on, or service from BIMABOX, you agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to payments made for BIMABOX services, including monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, family vault plans, premium storage plans, AI extraction credits, document-processing services, add-on services, claim-readiness or document-assistance services, and any other paid feature offered by BIMABOX.
2. Free, Beta, and Trial Plans
BIMABOX may offer free, beta, or trial access.
Free, beta, or trial access does not guarantee permanent free usage. We may modify, restrict, discontinue, or convert free or beta features into paid features by giving reasonable notice where appropriate.
No refund applies to free services.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription by contacting us at info@xyptmedia.com.
After cancellation, your paid features may remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, your subscription will not renew after the current billing cycle, you may be moved to a free or limited plan, and some features, storage, reminders, family access, or AI extraction features may be restricted.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved in cases such as duplicate payment for the same plan, amount debited but plan not activated, technical error caused by BIMABOX that prevents access to paid features, incorrect billing due to a platform-side error, payment charged after confirmed cancellation where applicable, or any other case where refund is required under applicable law.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Unless required by law or approved by BIMABOX, refunds will generally not be provided if you changed your mind after purchase, did not use the subscription after activation, uploaded fewer policies than allowed under your plan, forgot to cancel before renewal, entered incorrect information, expected insurance advice, claim approval, or policy servicing beyond BIMABOX’s platform scope, had an insurance claim rejected by an insurer, had a policy lapse due to non-payment, deleted your account after using paid features, violated our Terms of Use, required correction to AI extraction results where the service was substantially delivered, or had your account suspended or terminated for misuse, fraud, or violation of our policies.
6. Monthly Plans
Monthly plan payments are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
You may cancel renewal for the next billing cycle by contacting info@xyptmedia.com.
7. Annual Plans
For annual plans, refunds may be considered only if the refund request is made within 7 days of purchase, the account has not substantially used paid features, and no significant document extraction, storage, family sharing, or premium service has been consumed.
After 7 days, annual plan payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law or approved by BIMABOX at its discretion.
8. AI Extraction Credits and Add-Ons
Payments for AI extraction credits, document-processing credits, storage add-ons, or one-time services are generally non-refundable once used.
If credits were purchased but not delivered due to a verified platform error, BIMABOX may choose to restore the credits, reprocess the document, provide a refund, or offer an equivalent service adjustment.
9. Failed, Pending, or Duplicate Payments
If your payment is debited but not reflected in your BIMABOX account, please contact us at info@xyptmedia.com.
Please include your registered email address, payment date, amount paid, transaction ID, screenshot or payment confirmation if available, and a short description of the issue.
If the payment is confirmed as successful but not credited, we will either activate the plan or initiate a refund. Duplicate payments, once verified, will be refunded to the original payment method.
10. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be initiated within 7 to 10 business days from approval.
The actual time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on your bank, UPI provider, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment gateway.
11. Refund Method
Refunds will usually be processed to the original payment method.
We may not be able to refund to a different bank account, UPI ID, card, or wallet unless required due to technical, banking, legal, or compliance reasons.
12. Taxes and Charges
Refunds may be subject to applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, bank charges, or statutory deductions.
Where GST invoices have been issued, refund treatment may depend on applicable tax rules and accounting requirements.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute directly with your bank, UPI provider, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment gateway, your BIMABOX account may be temporarily restricted until the dispute is resolved.
False or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of your account.
14. Service Termination by BIMABOX
If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Use, fraud, misuse, unauthorized document upload, illegal activity, or security abuse, you may not be eligible for a refund.
